The rules for using Walli. Please read them carefully. Last updated: 4 July 2026.
Walli is a personal-finance app to record and understand your own money — accounts, transactions, budgets, envelopes, savings goals, loans, group expenses and reports, with optional AI-assisted insights. Walli is NOT a bank, payment institution or financial intermediary: it never holds, moves or accesses your actual money or bank accounts. All figures are the ones you enter or import. The service is provided "as is", for personal and informational use only, and is not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Walli is an evolving product; new accounts are reviewed and activated manually, and features may change.
You may use Walli only if you can form a binding contract and are at least the minimum age required for online services in your country (the "digital age of consent" under the GDPR ranges from 13 to 16; in Italy it is 14). By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide, including your date of birth, is accurate. One person, one account; you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
Where a user is below the digital age of consent in their country, Walli must be used with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that use. For minors we apply extra safeguards: no behavioural advertising or profiling, and only age-appropriate sponsors (see "Sponsors"). We do not knowingly create accounts for children below the applicable age without the required consent; contact us if you believe a minor is using Walli improperly.
New sign-ups are activated manually before access is granted; until then some features are unavailable. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
You agree to use Walli lawfully and not to: break the law or others' rights; upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content; try to access other users' data or our systems without authorisation; probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the service; or misuse the AI features (for example to extract other people's data or bypass safeguards). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the law.
The financial data and content you enter remain yours. You grant Walli only the limited permissions needed to store, process and display that content to you (and, for group expenses, to the members of your groups) and to operate the service. We do not sell your data. How we process personal data — including the use of AI and third-party providers — is described in the Privacy Policy.
If you create or join a group, the expenses, balances, settlements and your display name/email within that group are visible to the other members. Only invite people who should see that information. You are responsible for the people you invite and for how you split and settle expenses; any dispute over amounts owed is between you and the other members — Walli only records what you enter and does not process real payments.
Walli offers optional AI features (a finance assistant, report insights and receipt scanning) powered by a third-party model provider. The AI generates suggestions and summaries from the data in your account; it can be incomplete or wrong, is advisory only, and is not financial advice. It does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects for you. Always verify figures against your official sources, and don't enter information you would not want processed by an AI provider (see the Privacy Policy).
Walli is free to use. To cover costs we may display banners from selected sponsors, differentiated by country and age bracket (with separate, appropriate sponsors for minors). Sponsors receive only aggregate audience information — never your personal or financial data. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we will tell you before any charge applies.
Some products or services we recommend may be affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through them, Walli may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Any such recommendation is clearly labelled, is not financial advice or an endorsement, and any contract is solely between you and that third party. You are never required to use them, and we still never sell your data.
Walli runs on third-party infrastructure and services (hosting, database, authentication, AI and email — see the Privacy Policy for the list). We are not responsible for outages, changes or acts of those providers, although we choose them with care and bind them by contract.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability). We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. You are responsible for keeping your own records.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walli and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for decisions you make based on the data or AI outputs shown, for loss of data, or for service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
You can stop using Walli and delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or the law, or where necessary to protect the service or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy [operator's jurisdiction — to be confirmed], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence and use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. We will always try to resolve issues amicably first — please contact us.
We may update these Terms; we will flag material changes in the app and update the date above. If you keep using Walli after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
These Terms are provided in several languages for your convenience. The English version is the reference text; if a translation conflicts with it, the English version prevails, except where mandatory law in your country requires otherwise.
For questions about these Terms, contact the operator of Walli at [contact email / address — to be completed].
